Sex Positive: Fly Your Slut Flag With Pride!

Sex positive Boston Single Girl

It’s 2014 and yet we still hear the same words used to describe women who enjoy sex: slut, whore, loose, easy, tramp, dirty. Anyone who visits here regularly knows that one of my pet peeves is the double standard which exists between men and women when it comes to their sexual exploits. I say instead of shaming each other we should teach each otherSex positive Boston Single Girl to be more sex positive!

Sex isn’t dirty or shameful, it’s natural and human when it’s between two consenting adults. Yet, society as a whole views anything sexual—lingerie, talking dirty, sex toys, watching porn, enjoying sex— as something dirty, sinful, bad and something you should be ashamed of even thinking about, let alone talking about.

Not me! Not here! I say if you enjoy a good fucking, then so be it! If you require an orgasm or two (whether with a vibrator or with a partner) to get you through a shitty day, then go for it! If telling your partner you want him or her to throw you down, pull your hair and fuck you until you scream your own name puts you in the mood, then have at it! Who am I to judge? Who are any of us to judge?!

Sex is supposed to be fun and enjoyable (and safe), not taboo and shameful. You shouldn’t feel like you’re doing something wrong or that you’re  bad just because you like sex or are open about sex. I think everyone should be open about sex. Hell, if you can’t talk about it with the person you intend to be naked with, then maybe you shouldn’t be getting naked!

I like rough, dirty, scratch-his-back, pull-my-hair, fuck-me-so-my-neighbors-know-your-name sex. I like variety, and multiple partners. I like men and women. I like being dominant as well as being dominated. I like talking dirty and having filthy things whispered in my ear. I have fetishes and fantasies and love sharing them with a partner I trust. I love pushing the sexual limits by having sex in public. I love watching people have sex and I love being watched.

If all of this makes me a slut, then I’m more than happy to fly my slut flag with pride! After all, I’m the one getting laid while you judge me because you’re sex life isn’t as satisfying to you as mine is to me.

Get off your high horse, open your mind and your legs, and fly that slut flag with pride!

  1. Amen sister! You’re right, people should be able to be confident about their sexual choices, the unfortunate part is the world we live in. It’s filled with judgmental people. Although you and I can be different and proudly discuss sexuality, it still comes with a stigma. I look forward to the day where people can be open and honest about everything. Great food for thought!

    • Thank you! It seems that it’s OK for men to be sexually active, but when it’s a woman who is open about her sexual desires or conquests, some pretty harsh labels are thrown on her. I think we should all stop judging what other consenting adults do and just screw! The world would be a happier place! lol

  2. Yayy!!! I LOVE this post! I love ALL of those things too and am so happy when other women express their sexual desires openly! We should not be ashamed of anything sexual, sensual, or sexy! We’re human with desires too! It doesn’t make us sluts…it makes us amazing, hot, sensual women! Love it!
