Does casually dating a man in his 20’s (eh hem… 7 years younger than me) make me a cougar? Depending on which definition you prefer, according to the online urban dictionary, it’s possible! Judging by the various definitions given, a cougar is a hot “older” woman, maybe considered a MILF (um..hello! Yes, that’s me thank you very much!) either in her 30’s, 40’s or 50’s (though one definition says 35+ so that rules me out) who pursues much younger men, typically young enough to be their son (eeew! gross that would make me a pedophile!!)
It also says:
True cougars are classy, beautiful creatures who have made their successes on their own, have real brains, usually with expensive cars/homes, and are real head turners. Cougars seek younger men, and don’t have to sneak up and attack…they know their younger mates are eager to get an experienced woman who won’t ask if they’ll call them the next day. Being a cougar is a positive thing.
I didn’t pursue him, he showed interest in me first, but I’m damn sure not going to ignore this young little hottie! Last Saturday night we walked around Faneuil Hall, talking and laughing, grabbed a pizza, fed the fish down at Long Wharf and took the T home together. He kissed me goodnight and asked if he could bring me Dunkin Donuts in the morning. Damn! I always wanted my very own hot Dunks delivery boy and now I have one complete with dimples!!
Well if the last definition of a cougar is true, then ME-fuckin-OW!!!
